These only appear as primary, they will not enter a battle as a back up pet. I have spent (no joke) about 12 hours flying around Spires of Arak looking for a rare Bloodsting Wasp. As of this post, I am still looking! It seems finding a rare is no easy task. I am thinking of giving up.                  Update: Found my Rare in Ravenskar, right in the middle of Spires of Arak. Yay!

it looks like some of the draenor pets are still not registered correctly with pet tracker or pet journal enhanced (not sure which). i decided to capture a rare b/b of this guy/gal and it became p/b when added to my collection.

Got a blue H/B first battle.  A little south of Crow's Crook, near Sunderthorn's nest (around 58.64 44.65).  It was in the middle of a group of wasps so I had to be careful about clearing a path to it.

Found a rare B/B Bloodsting Wasp at 58.8, 78.8...behind Engineer Gearwatz at the Wreck of the Motherlode. What is the best stat set for this pet?

 

*Came across a second rare B/B at 51.5, 68.4 (SW corner of mountains in Bloodmane Valley).

Wandering around Spires for an hour or so looking for this battle pet. I found 4 total, 3 poor & 1 common. Widely scattered between Pinchwhistle Gearworks & Talon Watch. Good hunting.

I spent the better part of a weekend riding around Spires of Arak looking for a P/B breed.  I slaughtered every single combat pet I came across trying to get them to spawn.  Turns out the addon I use wasn't up to date and it just wasn't showing the breed properly.  >.<
