Players can only access the treasure that contains this pet if they have the quest The Cipher of Damnation. This quest is part of a Garrison Campaign quest chain, and is obtained from an NPC in the main Alliance and Horde quest hubs in Tanaan Jungle.

Who do you get the last quest from? Is it random? I have completed the first three but don't understand how the last one works.
If you're an idiot like me and didn't realize about this lil guy before you left the zone after completing the quest chain don't worry. You can just go back and it's still open, just click on the little yellow crystal to the right, right by a column of stone, to the right of Yirel. For the LIGHT!
Got this pet today, and can confirm it is a) looted from an item only accessible after you have the relevant garrison mission (pursuit of Gul'dan chain) and b) it is cageable.
You can cage this pet, so it is tradeable.
Blorp in battle pet form is not tradable. However, the item you purchase to learn the battle pet is tradable. Shard of Cyrukh as a battle pet, according to the pet journal and Wowhead will indeed be tradable.
And as was mentioned below, this pet is not a quest reward but is looted from a treasure chest that becomes accessable once the "In Pursuit of Gul'dan" achievement is completed.
i Just got this pet, it is not a reward from the quest, it is a pet you can only get from this quest becuase you can only get to it when you can get past the barrier blocking the stone you loot to get the pet after you kill the boss at the end of the quest, and it is tradeable.
