Scientists, engineers, and gamers of Undermine must keep their desks clean lest they be visited by the underroaches.
S/S has the best speed at 304 Rare, which makes it easier to run a 1/1/1 if you're not dealing with anything flying. Flyby gives 25% increased damage taken but doesn't have a cooldown, unlike Swarm, but I like Swarm because of the massive damage it brings.
P/P breed gives you a damage beast, making Swarm's 3rd hit swing for over 300, which can be extremely helpful against bosses when you're trying to survive against some of the massive hits they can dish out.
Actually it's much easier to tell them apart. The regular brown version has bright blue eyes, the orange version has bright green eyes.
The Underroach comes in two colours, which look superficially similar on the page here. The easiest way to tell them apart is that the regular brown has a pale stripe across its thorax (between head and abdomen), while the other variant has no such marking and is more of an orange-brown colour. According to the database, the orange-brown is the rarer spawn (3 in 23, or 13.0%), and the brown with pale thorax stripe is common (20 in 23, or 87%).
This pet can also occur as a wild secondary pet, so if you find a secondary with good stats you can always just keep restarting the battle until it appears in the colour you're after.
