There are 17 different feline beasts with identical movesets. The only difference (battle wise) is the breed. For the 4 cats that have a breed choice, only the Sand Kitten and the Snow Cub cannot be mimicked by any other breed. The Cheetah Cub is the fastest with 390 speed. The most powerful is the Cornish Rex Cat with 341 power. The healthiest is the B/B Snow Cub with 1481 health. The amount of health restored from using Devour increases with power.

Nice pet. I use it to lvl other pets in Crystalsong forest. Thanks to the speed and devour ability, he never dies versus the critters there. Easy and fast leveling there.

As a hunter, this is my favorite pet to have out with me because I have a matching pet and the Winterspring mount as well.  One of the cutest little cats in the game. Plus, my favorite color is purple and my character has purple hair lol

That is correct. You need a battle stone to get a rare one.

 

I usually summon this pet while riding my Winterspring saber.

Is it correct to presume that this pet cannot be purchased as a rare?  I haven't seen anything that says so, but I suspect that is the case.  Can anyone confirm?

I'm glad they finally updated the mount quest to match the raptor one. Much better idea than just farming. A little interaction with a pet brings a lot. :> Going to have to go back to Winterspring to start this! :)

The Vendor 'Michelle De Rum' is located inside the Everlook inn. The pet sells for 50g (no faction associated, but level 24 guilds will get it for 45g, and Goblins for 40g(or 35g if in a level 24 guild, I believe). It is bind on use, so you can also pick it up at the auction house(for an inflated price, I am sure).

This is NOT the same cub from the new Wintersaber Trainer Quests for the mount.

Just climbed on to the boat from Booty Bay to Ratchet with this guy. As the boat departed he slowly slid back and then did litle runs towards me until he was running on the spot in the far room of the boat! Cutest little bugger ever!

I got this pet with out doing any quest. Cost is 50 gold even with being exalted with Wintersaber Trainers. No Faction Discounts. :(
