They will cover themselves in seaweed and other ocean foliage to get the upper claw on their prey.
Same stats and breeds as the spineclaws, with rip/blood in the water, this one's shield compared to the Spineclaws heal though, the shield can block weak dots and another sources of small high count damage, but the heal can counter a power move. Not a bad aquatic pet to wreck elemental/critter teams, though a bit slow but with nimbus/slow first slot support it's not a bad pet, also easy to get.
Rip + Blood in the Water is worth another 1/2 point rating. 3 is too low.
A Kelp Scuttler, a Fen Crab and just about any other pet will make quick work of that big lasher plant thingy in Vol'dun. Just use "Rip" than "Blood in the Water" switch and use Blood in the Water again. That's it! If by some twist of rnd it still lives follow up with any aquatic attack.
I have alot of fancy pets but I really love my Kelp Scuttlers!

I found two rares in one battle on the little island at 27.30, 87.15. I probably just got lucky, but thought I'd let y'all know anyway. :)
I have a P/P and an H/H, both poor, both level 25. Trying to decide which one to stone. Any thoughts on breed?
Got a rare today as a secondary with a Flat-Tooth Calf.
Found a rare at Talador 53.98, 16.32.
Also while searching for the ellusive shadow sporebat, this came as a secondary with a silkbead snail at 84.78, 28.72).
I found a rare one as a second to a Brilliant Bloodfeather.
