As mentioned in the other comment, talk to Nuptuk and he he will give you Sunglasses to put on. Once you have them on you can see Whitewhisker.

Nuptuk is in The Azure Span /way 50.88, 54.74 Both battle pets and non-battle pets are seen in the area behind Nuptuk.
