Above the vast green plains and rolling hills the slyvern fly, leaving only tiny shadows on the ground to mark their path through the sky.
didn't have to kill any. just was in the area and noticed a critter I haint kilt afore. so I got un.
Absolutely works. go to 63 23 in the Ohn'ahran plains and kill every slyvern pup you see. i even killed the level 70 ones to be safe. took about 30 mins but one spawned. and i got it.
Arcane dash is one of his skills and its really pretty fun.
Love all the helpful comments! didn't really seem to need the macro once i was in the area...they are all over the place and there are lots of critters to help creep toward 50k critter kills lol. I killed them all for about 10 min, then had to go to bed. made sure they were all dead before I logged. when I logged back in there was one right in front of me! =). I have seen 3, always grey. oh...and he was my 1200th unique pet, so yay! =P
Location is correct, and the macro spamming got it to spawn in under an hour. thank you

/cast judgmentTook 1 hour of killing slyverns and bunnies for it to spawn. I was confused because there were no battlepets in the area, only critters, till it spawned. 64.05 25.96
Took me just under two hours of clearing every critter in the area and was just about to give up when it spawned, poor, but a stone sorted that. Thanks for the posts re the macro, it helped - hard to spot them flying in the trees without it, also the spawning area mentioned was spot on when he eventually showed up.
I used group finder to hop shards and found one up on my second hop.
I've killed one too many *marks* before. So i always have a *taming* group with a corgi so he can bark and not kill them off. So after 30 mins I SEE HIM in all his glory. I go over - i finally box him after 3 times... now to kill the other 2. I forgot to heal my team. *hangs head in shame* i didnt get him.
Found one at 63.7;26.4 in under 5 minutes...it was grey lvl 25 and primary.
I made a macro for Slyvern Pups and killed all in sight for about 10 mins. Worked like a charm!
It took about 30 minutes of killing all critters before the Battle pet Black Slyvern pup appeared. Keep at it.
I still have not seen one yet I have been fighting in the area y9ou guys suggested should I just keep looking there
I found mine west of Emberwatch, Ohn'ahran Plains, at (63.17, 23.51).
@ Animorpher, kill any critters and battle pets. They all share spawns, not only the particular one.
There are several level 1 Slyvern Pup critters in the Sundapple copse (~62, 23). After about 15 mins of killing them, one of these battle pets spawned.
