Sign-ups have begun for the Pet Battle PVP Tournament Season 2. [source]

This player-created and hosted Pet Battle tournament is back for Season 2. Sign-ups are currently open, no entry fee required, with sign-ups ending on March 27^th.

The start of Season 2 officially kicks off on March 28^th.

Bring your strongest battle pet teams and compete against other players to win fun prizes!

• Grand prize is a custom trophy
• Top four get to pick from an additional prize pool
• All competitors will receive a custom enamel pin (artwork pictured right)

The Blizzard Gear Store has a new limited time promotion that rewards a new bronze murloc pet!

From March 10, 2025 to March 31, 2025 purchasing any World of Warcraft product from the Blizzard Gear Store will come with a bronze murloc digital pet code.

Note that the code will take 5 days to arrive by email after placing a qualifying order, and the limit is 1 code per order, 3 codes per household.

New Battle Pets
Over 40 new pets can be found in the new zone, Undermine. Here's a quick summary:

• 16 wild pets
• 14 pets sold by vendors
• 5 dropped pets
• 3 achievement rewards
• 2 quest rewards

There are also three more hyena pups, although it's still unknown where they'll be found. It's possible they might be planned for a future patch, but we'll keep an eye out for Goggles, Grinner, and Scruff (pictured above) all the same.

New Battling Challenges

Four new Pet Battle trainers can be found in Undermine, and with these additions, a new "Family Familiar/Battler" set of achievements.

Defeat each of the encounters using a level 25 team of one pet type to complete 10 family achievements, which will then complete the Family Battler of Undermine meta-achievement and reward Foreman (pictured right).

New Twitch Drop

To celebrate the release of Patch 11.1, there's a new Twitch Drop reward. [source]

Starting today through March 25, 2025, players that watch at least 4 hours of a participating active WoW Twitch stream will earn Tock the Clocker Spaniel (pictured right). Be sure to link your Bnet account with your Twitch account to ensure eligibility.

New MoP Classic Bundle Pet

Mists of Pandaria Classic will be released later this year, and will be free to play with an active WoW subscription. However, two upgrade bundles can be purchased that grant multiple MoP-themed cosmetic items. [source]

Players that purchase the Sha-Infused Heroic Pack upgrade will receive Merriment (pictured right) in Retail and Joyous in Classic, plus other cosmetic items. The pet is added directly to your Pet Journal in both versions of the game.

The Heroic Pack costs $39.99 USD, while the Epic Pack costs $79.99 USD. The Epic Pack offers the same cosmetic rewards as Heroic, but it also includes a character level boost and game time.
