PSA if you play till level 20 and not just revered you can also get a Hearthstone Palidan Skin as reward from achievement. (Lady Liandrin)

I finally got mine as a secondary pet in the Uplands north of the Ruins. Rabbit was the main. I did try killing the Snowshoe Hare itself to try and get the critter to spawn but no luck on that end, but I didn't really try that long. I don't like to kill critters so I gave up kind of quickly.

I can confirm this happened to me too. No pet till I revived, I used a pet bandage and it worked. Thanks for the tip.
My only issue with this pet is 5 out of 6 flying abilities. Only one human ability. Considering Main harpies use magic, I was hoping for 1 magic ability and because of the Clawed feet a rake or claw beast ability.
so I was reading up on this at WoWHead. This Boss needs to be frozen to kill. They mention Frost Oil and Shaman with Frost Shock, Mages, DK's and hunters with other freezing spells. This might be guide worthy.

In 5.2 Reflection is being replaced. Have you ever seen the effect of reflection on the Terrible Turnips son of roots, it's Awesome. I hope they will reconsider as seeing some of these affect are just fun to see.
