Battle Pet event is on the calendar for November. Blizzard doesn't care whether we level our pets on a regular basis or not.

Took 27 kills for me to get. Respawn times varied from 29 minutes to an hour and eight minutes. H/P breed.

I keep seeing people suggesting taming pets using toons on different servers. How does this do your toons on your main server any good? Can you link battle pets across servers? I really want to get some rare pets that I haven't managed to capture so far, but I don't want them to be stranded on another server so they aren't in my main toons list.
