My inanimate crystalspine was located on a sled at the back of a frozen room in Zskera Vaults. To access the area, you loot an empty vial in one room, an empowering flame from a cauldron in another room, and use the vial of flames on the ground to clear the ice.

I looted two of these from chests in two separate rooms in my first run of the vaults with only about 8 keys on hand, so it doesn't seem isolated to only one room/chest. 

If two players have the pet summoned at the same time, your pet will look a lot larger than theirs, but they will see their pet as larger.

I received this pet from the second hunt (blue bag) on my level 69 druid alt with 1 renown with the Maruuk centaur, after I received the Bakar companion from the first hunt (purple bag)

I received this pet from the first hunt (purple bag) on my level 69 druid alt with 1 renown with the Maruuk centaur, followed by the Ohuna companion from the second hunt (blue bag). Both hunts were in the Azure Span.

It seems there are two color variants of this pet: a red one with gold eyes, and a bluish-grey one with red eyes.
