Took abiout 50 casts for me to get it off of the pier near where the fishing trainer stands. Just casting into the general water buffed with only the buff from the fishing pole.
Just captured 2 of these in Deadwind Pass at about 11:45am server time. What was interesting though is that both of them were underground in The Master's Cellar area. They weren't out in the open. You enter the map down stairs in one of the houses along the south side of the road. There were 2 of these mixed in with the level 68-70 ghosts in the area. One was a poor while the other was an uncommon. I can live with that. :)
Just to mention, I found my ooze sitting just outside the entrance of the cave. There were a couple more of them inside the actual cave but they can be found just outside of it as well.
I just battled and caught a green Widow Spiderling at 1:54pm local and server time in Duskwood. I'm on Ysera. I just wanted to report that since the description says that this is an evening only pet. I had previously caught and/or battled gray ones but those happened between 8pm and 10pm local and server time.
edit: It was the second behind a Dusk Spiderling. The gray ones were behind Dusks as well.
Pretty much finished up the Eastern Kingdoms except for the Twilight Highlands. Off to Kalimdor to fill up those holes. Spent over 2 hours looking for a Minfernal in Felwood but without luck. (edit: interesting how 3 other folks on the wall are also looking for this pet.)
