when you use rain dance it gives nocturnal strike a 100% hit chance. similar to the gilnean raven's call darkness/nocturnal strike combo except you get a heal from it first. it also boost crit chance when you use rain dance so you could be hitting harder than the gilnean raven. This might be a good pet to pair with a scourged whelpling for pvp or pve if you do not want to go through the hassle of obtaining a gilnean raven or a crow.

I believe that this pet is a reference to another game called "Joust". It is an old atari game where you control a jouster similar to this pet.
