Finally found two of them after some killing at Neferset. One poor, one uncommon. Left it at the uncommon for now.

Yay, an alt just got this in a game prize! So glad I didn't already buy it :)

There were about 5 on my AH today for 250 gold each, lol! Immediately bought one ofcourse, saves me some trouble :)

 

And omg, he's the cutest pet I've ever seen! Definitely keeping this one out :)

Just bought it off AH for 350, so much easier!

Got a rare on first try, p/b. Going to level it quickly :)

4 snowy owls on my first visit to Winterspring, 2 poor, 1 common and 1 uncommon

Semi-easy find. There are loads of packs flying around, you just have to go through them and you'll come across a rare. It might still take a while though. Fun fact: the rare I found got me to level 90 haha.

Read comments first, went there and saw a poor one paired with an uncommon and rare cockroach. Let the rare cockroach go for the poor whelpling, went a bit further and found four more.. One of them was uncommon and caught it.

Update: there were 10 more so 11 in total. Just my luck that one of them was rare. It almost killed me while trying to catch it, caught it though (thank god).

Got to SW to take my portal to the farm, checked AH casually and found it for 99 gold, hell yeah!

Just got to Tanaris and found myself in a sandstorm, I started at the gaping chasm, caught the first uncommon one I saw, forfeited everything else. Didn't find a rare so I made my way to the noxious lair, clicked the first one I saw and while forfeiting, the sandstorm stopped so it lasted about 15min. No rare for me this time.

Got it around my tenth spawn. Got a rare tree python and parrot in the process. There were plenty around and kept respawning. 

Just got my rare on second try (first was uncommon). There are still three left so that makes five.

Got it at Twilight Bulwark, saw about five of them, no rare though. (Got an uncommon.)

The second time (also second day) I did a loop around the spawn points, I saw one running around and caught it, common. I went further and saw another one with two big giraffes, forfeited when I saw it was poor. 

There were five just now (Laughing Skull, low). I caught the uncommon one, the others were common or poor.

Just went there and spotted about fifteen of them at the entrance. Five uncommon or so but no rare and they didn't respawn. I'm going to check again tomorrow. Did grab an uncommon though, so I'm happy.

I went to the place for the first time and found lots of them. Went through the first round and got about 3 uncommon and lots of greys. I finished and headed back and found out they had already respawned. I kept battling and they just kept respawning! It took me about 70 though before I got my rare. Still respawning this moment. No idea if they changed it or if it's because of my low server.

Logged on a toon, it was raining! A baby ape right in front me, uncommon and grabbed it. I didn't find any others even though it was still raining. Waited for a bit and after a while they respawned. I guess someone else killed the first batch. No rare to be found though. I'll try again another time.

Killing Thundering Exiles worked well for me. Went there, killed the circle and after a minute or two a tiny twister popped up (uncommon). Grabbed it and started killing exiles again. After my second round, a rare popped up. And... I killed it :') Still continuing now with killing exiles. A second uncommon popped up after my third round and a poor after my fourth. 

I am so damn lucky, got it in 10 minutes, 51 kills and BAM, so damn lucky.
