Omen's Comments

This pet was very easy to level; I brought it along with my 25s to Pandaria, and since Magic pets can only take 40% of their HP in damage, even at level 1 he could get a shot in and then switch out without dying.

Also, he does damage comparable to that of the Lofty Libram or Legs, and his level 20 heal (Wish) is absolutely amazing. The only other pet with Wish is the Magical Crawdad, and- trust me!- he's a LOT harder to get. (Though I must say, the two of them make an unstoppable team.)

Checked the 3 Crystalsong Forest spawn points, and found an uncommon valkyr at the easternmost one at 8:04 AM.  Then my Marsh Fiddler critted for double-damage at a crucial moment and killed it. >_> Tried to trap it when it did that one-round undead self-rez thing, but it missed.

So I flew over to Zul-Drak, and lo and behold, there's a RARE valkyr at the closest spawn point.  I caught that one successfully.

All I can think is that they must spawn on the hour. 0.0
