I can confirm that these can be secondary to Ashwing Moths.

It's a lovely moth with unique skill set and model, nice to see some moth variation!

Found a rare (two actually) as a second to Ashwing Moth on Timeless Isle. It does indeed have both a unique skillset AND model, it glows under the belly.

Shouldn't it have changed into the Winter skin by 1st December? Mine is still wearing its Autumn skin.

I can confirm that the skin changed to a lovely winter skin on the 21st Dec. :)

The faire has been up for an hour now on my server and I can conclude that these have a fairly quick respawn timer, seen them from lvl 1-8, however I have only seen them as Uncommon so far.

I always find alot of these, 10-15, in the early mornings, between 6-8 am. But once I clear them out, they don't seem to respawn for a while and rest of the day I usually never see more than 1-2 at a time. I have never seen any connections between the respawn rate and the weather, even when it's raining I haven't experienced that there are more of them than when it's not. 

Does anyone know if this has been fixed with patch 5.1? Can anyone confirm having gotten a rare after the patch? 

Found alot more of these in the morning than in the evening. Dunno if it's just because less people are farming in the mornings. But at 9 am there were almost 10 at each mana forge. Took me a while to get a rare though, most were common or poor quality. They have a bad habit of flying inside rocks, if you see the green paw icon but no pet, just wait a few seconds for it to fly out and you can battle it.

I found lots of Toads along Falfarren River but no Frogs. So I killed all the Toads and some of them respawned as Frogs. :)

After defeating the Pandaria tamers, the tamers from the rest of the world will only give you gold for doing their daily quests. The tamers in Pandaria should still give you a satchel for their daily quest.

Got my rare by battling a Mountain Cottontail and the Redridge showed up as a secondary. Took many battles with no luck of a rare, but be patient! :)

Got a rare as a second to when battling a Emerald Shale hatchling.

This morning - Sunday at 09.00 am I went there and it was full of hatchlings! They respawned so fast I couldn't even keep up, and it's not like the area is that big. Farmed about 30 min, got a rare Crimson and Golden and then at 09.30 it seemed like the respawn rate suddenly slowed down to having to fly around for a few minutes to even see a fightable pet of any kind.

This morning - Sunday at 09.00 am I went there and it was full of hatchlings! They respawned so fast I couldn't even keep up with them, and the area isn't even that big. Farmed for about 09.30, got a rare Crimson and Golden and then at 09.30 it seemed like the respawn rate suddenly slowed down to having to fly around for a few minutes to even see a fightable pet of any kind.

There's plenty of these at the Jade Temple Grounds, but the rare ones seem to be really rare, or maybe I'm just unlucky... 

I did the trick with killing all other pets I saw and the Spawn of Onyxia seemed to spawn regularly, so this seems to work. Got my rare after about 30 min of farming like that. It was early in the morning so no other people there either.

Been having an alt parked in Icecrown and searching for this guy with no luck until this morning. I logged in early a Monday morning at 0730 a.m. and there were loads of these just south of the Argent Tournament area and around Sindragosa's rest. Number 2 and 3 I fought were rares so I snatched both of them.
