The 2 secondaries when I was battling Jungle Grubs in Krasarang Wilds were both rare Sea Gulls.  Diff breeds though.

A must have for a capturing team.  Saves you the pain of losing your level 2 rare to a big hit.  Get yours today!!!

I wonder if that's new with patch.  Because I also found a lot in the Barrow Dens (4+) including a green one.  So yes, they do spawn as primaries as they others have said.

I don't think it has spawn conditions.  I was camping and someone else nabbed one just before I saw it, it was 12:15am server time and it was the only one.  I wish it would spawn for me :*(

I saw the on two realms at the same time at 0030am and thought maybe that was the spawn time.  However, the next day I checked at the same time and nothing.  And then next day.  However, the following day I saw them on BOTH servers again at 7am, so it must be some specific timer for it to be spawning on two servers at the same time.  When they spawn, there are at least 4-5 of them at a time.  Got a green - would love a rare, but hey I'm just happy to have one!
