I remember creating a Horde Character just so I could catch this guy. Only one fellow dropped him who spawned every 6 hours or so in 3 different spots. If you killed him the drop chance was extremely low. I caught a few and sold in AH. My Bank Alt accidentally activated one when he went to sell it in AH. This gave me 2 in my pet list when Pet Battles became active Years later. The Cat was one of the first I brought to Level 25 and upgraded from Uncommon to Rare. Love it and the story I have.

This is probably my luckiest catch when it comes to pets. For months I swam across the water during Darkmoon looking for the Rabbit. The very first time I saw him, I asked to join the group that was attacking him. I joined the group, helped kill him, rolled him and named him Monty. I couldn't believe the luck I had. Let's hope I have the same with more :^)
