I too have been waiting days for a sandstorm, camping most of the day. It's finally here and there are no spawns! :(

Edit: My third sandstorm, and this time both hives were filled! It took me all but one of them to find my rare! /Happydance

I see these are listed in only 3 starting areas, but I have found them as secondary pets around level 20 twice. Can't remember where the first one was, but the second was in Netherstorm.

Edit: Found more cats in Netherstorm, as secondaries to the Nether roaches and Nether ray fledgelings. Very common it seems.

Found my rare one just now, 21.50 server time! :) Not many pet collectors around here it seems.

14.15 server time. 5 of them at the Circle of outer binding. My second was a rare.

Found 7 of them just northeast of Greenwarden, got my rare on the 3rd one. 9.20 am server time.

Found 4 of them now a bit before 9 am server time. I got an uncommon then and stopped looking, as I am currently working on the number of pets and not the quality.

Found one walking around by itself in the northern part at 5.30 am server time. Poor quality though.

Edit: Found a second one at 16.50 server time, in the crossing to Dustwallow marsh. Rare! :)

Found one around 5.45 am server time. Poor quality, but at least I got one! :)

8.30 server time and the place was completely filled with them! Unfortunately no rare, but I did get an uncommon.
