I use the Spirebound Crab as one of my go-tos in PvE.  The one I have is a P/P build, which means it has far less health than my Strand Crawler (my previous go-to), but on the other hand it has superior shielding and healing ability, which means that it's *still* a very durable pet (especially against those that use multiple weak attacks rather than single strong attacks), and it can deal more damage.

This pet is effectively the same as the Strand Crawler in terms of stats and abilities; in fact, a Rare version of this pet is exactly the same except in terms of looks.  Suffice to say, a rare one of these is a very resilient pet, and a solid choice to have as part of your core team.

This crab's survivability wowed me from the beginning.  I have used it as one of my core pets since I started doing battle pets; indeed, since battle pets came into existence, really.  Those who have one of these will rejoice; those who have to *face* one of these will probably feel rather crabby afterwards.
