Only took around 15 minutes to get 150 'Darkmoon Fish' for both of the new Darkmoon Faire pets, so thankfully it's not another Lunker exercise.

About every 6th or so catch was a stuffed fish which each contained around 6-10, plus some gold.

I have seen reports of players getting the pet to drop from recipes other than the feasts, but all the reports have been from 'green at 700' recipes;

Blackrock Barbecue

Calamari Crepes

Frosty Stew

Gorgrond Chowder

Sleeper Surprise

Talador Surf and Turf

Edit: Just got 'lil leftovers out of a Gorgrond Chowder (which I was making as the clefthoof meat is cheap and I was fishing for Skulker Lunkers).
