Finally caught one in cantrips and crows in about 600 casts. Didn't do it in 1 session, went back and forth quite a lot of times.

Attempted to buy it from the black market auction house several times (to get the achievement) but kept getting outbid/never bothered to camp the AH :(

Oh well, got the achievement the proper way now! :)

I spent about a couple of hours farming this until I got it. During this time I was also doing PvP pet battles though, so actual farming time may be just an hour.

I read the comments here and thought I'd give it a go, hoping to get it in 100 or so kills...

Ended up killing about 300 till I got mine. Still, I'm happy that I did get it finally :D

Got mine yesterday around midnight server time on Defias Brotherhood (EU).

Earlier I got disconnected from WoW while in a BG, I was flying around looking for the Val'kyr in the downtime.

To my surprise, after my connection returned, I logged in and just found a uncommon B/B Val'kyr right in front of me! Woulda prefered H/H but still, I've been searching for it for long enough and I'm just happy that I got any breed :p

Caught mine in Grizzly Hills, just north of Dun Argol.
