When I found out I could get an Oracle Hatchling I was thrilled! I was in a guild called Order of the Murloc at the time and while I couldn't have Lurky or Murky, I could have a murloc relative a Gorloc. The guild eventually disbanded but my Oracle Hatching remained and it reminds me of the Mrlgahalagahraga's we'd type as hello's and makes me smile.
I got a rare from a Rabid Nut Varmint; it's a perfect companion for a rogue in Azeroth.
On earth coral snakes belong to the family of snakes called Elapidae which also many other poisonous snakes including cobras and death adders. Coral snakes are very poisonous and some snakes in North America mimic the coral snakes coloring.
There are poems about how to tell them apart.
‘Red on yellow, kill a fellow, red on black, venom lack’ and ‘Red touch yellow, you’re a dead fellow; red touch black, you're okay Jack.’
I spent about three hours trying to get one that wasn’t be immediately taken by someone else several falls from my flying mount, (it was the quickest way to get down…) into harpies and trees later I finally got one poor harpy, accidently killed it. Then five minutes later caught a common and uncommon. Kept both and plan never to go harpy hunting again.
I saw the sporebats in Zangermarsh for the first time and loved the way they looked when I found out that you could have a tiny one follow you around I knew I had to have it. Pet battles came out, this little sporebat has some real versatility, able to do a lot of damage overtime. Sporebats are wildcard in pvp pet battles, able to use abilities from flying, undead and elemental family; perfect for throwing off opponents that switch pet particularly if they have mechanical or humanoid pet.
I know 1500g seems like a lot of gold to waste on a pet but here me out! I used to have it run around with me while I did my dailies in the Firelands, after all nothing better when you slaying fire elementals than having a pyromaniac plant as a companion. It just dances around like a lasher and throws little flaming seeds or are they baby fireballs? Not quite sure. As far as offensive/defensive tactics go it hits pretty hard and is able to heal itself.
I managed to catch a common one on my fifth try, I think they look really cool and prehistoric; however I'm not going to even try to get another one that’s an uncommon or a rare after three and a half weeks without seeing anything save two poor quality Diemtradon Hatchings I just gave up. I'm just going to wait for a pet stone to raise the quality. The drop rates better!
