Patch Day. So after trying and failing solo, I came back with a healer friend to try again, and realized that what I was missing was glyphed Curse of Exhaustion (for 70% snare). The lightning does ~70k every 5-10s, which I think could be managable (by some classes) solo. Took ten minutes, waterwalking around the isle.
He does not live in a bubble, as the General Info tab here pictures. He slithers around a few inches off the ground. Cannot fly, unfortunately.
Worth an upgrade stone, yes. Prowl+Call Darkness hits very hard, can kill many level 25 enemies in one hit. Unfortunately, she is quite fragile. I have level 18 pets with more health.
I leveled one of the Lamps up, gave it a magic stone, and it's a pretty decent counter to the supercharge 1-shot mechanical pets added in patch 5.1.
Can't be 1-shotted, due to the magic passive.
Flash is fairly reliable at making the enemy pet miss, and its basic elemental attack hits mechanicals for about 450 damage.

More like: "Created for one purpose and one purpose alone: to punch little dragons, as hard as it possibly can."
This dropped for me today in Naxxaramas. I love him. He's got tiny glowing red eyes, a spikey abdomen, spindly cobwebby legs, and he looks larger than your average spider.
Yeah, this guy was the most annoying for me, so I adopted him. Well done, Pandaren Air Spirit.
He cannot fly :(
If you play with your camera zoomed far out, as I usually do, these kites have a tendency to obstruct your view.
Please be considerate when in a raid or city.

He's pretty cool, as monkey pets are nearly non-existent, but he's incredibly tiny. Five or so of these guys would fit inside a creepy crate.
