Decided to farm this little guy when collecting Borean Leather to level my Leatherworking.
Took me 2802 kills before the Gundrak Hatchling dropped, and I almost gave up but I persevered - so don't get disheartened if it takes you ages!
On the plus side: you can earn quite nice amounts of gold from selling all the grey items you pick up.
Being a skinner, I have also made a mint from all the (extra) leather I picked skinner from the raptors.
Good luck guys, and keep farming!

I managed to obtain this pet off the carrion worms he resembles not long after I started farming him (I'm not usually so lucky!).
This is the most agile little grub ever, and a fantastic pet due to his awesome idle animation. Every time I'm showing off my pets to a friend, this is the one I pull out that they have not seen/heard of.
As this pet is BoP also, you'll never see it at the AH, so get farming!

This pet is a novelty for me as well because I mostly play alliance - and this is the best thing about this pet and its gryphon counterpart. I was in a Lich King fight once when I pulled it out. After a few mins of proudly parading my little cub around I heard on vent: 'why do you have a horde pet?' and other such questions from equally perplexed people. I personally prefer this one over the gryphon.

This is definitely one of my favourite pets in the game.
Being a resto druid. I love to take him out when I'm healing - it's so cool to /dance at the right moment, then you and your mini-tree can dance in time with each other. I also - however - do find that mine sleeps more than he dances - I guess even baby trees tire themselves out quickly
Because you can also get cats and bears, I keep telling my caster-druid friend that they should make a moonkin pet

The coolest thing about this pet is that its animation is so unlike any other pet animation.
The only problem being that I cry every time the lamb meets its demise at the hands of the wolvar.
The first time it happened, I was in the middle of Heroic Ahn'Kahet... and my guild-mates couldn't bear the wailing on vent... I'm now banned from having him out...
