Oh my god. I have fished those Highland Mixed Schools on and off since I've been physically able to (Which was about a year and a half ago), never putting in fewer than 2 hours per farming session. I finally caught my first Mr. Pinchy at 4 in the morning today. At first I barely noticed I fished up a blue item. My heart started racing. Then I thought "Oh crap, there's more that can happen then just getting the pet, I bet you anything I won't get the pet this Mr. Pinchy."
