It's 2016, pets!

Tell your tamers: vote for Burrd!

It's a white bunny.

No more or less exciting than any other bunny.

That is to say, it's a relatively boring pet in average hands - though a skilled player can make a rabbit horrifically annoying to play against.

Very pretty pet.  And very difficult to get hold of.

However, it is identical in looks and skills to the Alpine Foxling.

So unless you're a completionist or an achievement hunter, this one isn't worth the effort.

It's a flying eye.  A blueish, glowing, flying eye.

And while that's interesting and all, it doesn't really have a decently cohesive skillset.

Many of the skills it has benefit from other skills which it doesn't have, making it significantly less useful than it might have otherwise been.

A black strider with a fast breed.

Typical skill-set, but he looks nifty.

I've always like the way the Anubisath models looked.

So having one for a vanity pet is just brilliant.

It's a robot bear cub.

Not only that, it's a robot bear cub with a unique skillset.

It's cute, buff and useful.  All in all, a better-than-average pet.

It's a chicken.  A greyish chicken.

Not much more to be said than that.

A typical spider, but with an atypically gorgeous skin.

Nice to have in the collection if only because it's so pretty.

I confess, this is one of my personal favorites.

The combination of Leech Life, Sticky Web and Stoneskin make for an extraordinarily strong and survivable pet, particularly against beasts and humanoids.

Plus it just looks nice.  Can't forget that part.

Not difficult to find, if you're persistent.

And it can be a very effective anti-aquatic pet if found with a high power/speed breed.

One of my go-to pets for battling aquatics.

It's a rabbit.

Sure, it might say 'hare' - but the truth is, this is a rabbit.

A very average, very normal rabbit with very normal, very average rabbit abilities.

More difficult to find than the Alpine Foxling, and is all but identical.

Basically, this is a pet for achievement hunters and completionists.

A white fox.

Not terribly difficult to find (unlike the Arctic Fox Kit with which it shares both a model, skin and moveset), and a decent beast pet if you need speed.

It's a chipmunk.

It resembles a squirrel, yes.

But it is not a squirrel.

It's a chipmunk.

It's a white snake.

However, it does not play 80's hair rock.

I cannot determine if this is a positive or negative attribute.

Re: Adder

This is basically a very typical snake.

If you were to say, "show me a typical snake," this is the one I would show you.

It's a snake.

There's not a lot more to be said on the matter.

It's a balloon.

It's in Alliance colors.

It has an Alliance Lion on it.

And it can't fight worth a damn.

Shameful.  Just shameful.

The pet is attached to your CD Key for Starcraft II. There is no way to get the pet without buying the Collector's Edition of the game.
Now, if you are a fan of Starcraft and a WOW Player, you owe it to yourself to shell out the extra scratch for the Collector's Edition, as it not only comes with the pet and the in-box extras (Soundtrack CD, Cinematic DVD, Issue #0 Comic Book, Hardcover Artbook, Metal 2gb USB Dogtag, etc.) but it also comes with Warcraft and Diablo portraits and unit emblems.

As a pet collector, I have quite a few pets across my many characters. But the Wind Rider Cub is the only one I have ever added to the action bars on my main characters. This is easily my favorite pet of all time. Just seeing his happy little grin makes my day a little better. I feel bad when I take a flightpath and he despawns - to the point that sometimes I'll just use my flying mount to get from place to place to avoid losing him. In short, he's adorable. Definitely my favorite pet.
