Bought mine on Stormrage server for 50K.

To find this tamer he is in the next zone over from Shadowmoon Valley called Spires Of Arak at Location 46, 45 which is a little west of the center of the zone.

This tamer has two flying pets and one Mechanical that you need to beat before you can purchase these two pets.

Yes this is cageable. Seen a few on AH for 18-20K and they went fast. If you are not into PVP and have the extra gold, it might be worth it to buy one.

These are on AH but the price is not cheap, I have only seen this pet on my AH on Stormrage sever which is a major Alliance servicer only THREE times. I seen it for 95,000 and 120,000 and I just bought mine on AH this weekend for $ 100,000.

So if you do not want to farm this, plan on spending some major gold.

I finally got this beautiful While Carp after 3 or 4 days while fishing about one hour per day at Shado-Pan Monastery in Kun-Lai Summit. The skill level that I was using was 710 while fishing in and out of those Emperor Salmon Schools in the area. It came as a second to another fish using the Ancient Pandaren Fishing Charm.

I had a higher level fishing gear on another character but decided to use the lower level gear character since he had the charm and it worked. I was around 850ish casts when this finally landed. But I had a friend who didnt have a charm and she got the white carp within the first few hundred casts, so it really is random.

While fishing for the Tiny Red Carp in Townlong Steppes at Fields of Niuzao lake that is west of Temple of Niuzao (35, 53) I caught this Tiny Blue Carp in the fishing of the day pool called Crowded Redbelly Mandarin.

So it is like killing two birds with one stone, fishing for the Red Carp and getting the Blue Carp..... still fishing at the same spot for the Red.

Caught after about 2 hours or about 400-500 casts with 750 fishing skill.

As I write this I have ran 3 toons through to this boss and I have yet to see it drop in LFR. Also I have a few characters on other servers, actually two of the largest alliance population in USA and I haven't seen this pet listed at all on AH.

Hopefully Blizzard will lower the drop rate, as of this date if you do get one of these pets, say a prayer and some thanks for being lucky!

Vanity pets should be made where any person who plays World of Warcraft can collect them and not just in the USA, China, Korea or where ever.

Not every glow fly has these as a add, I came across a glowfly with a roach/sea gull/rat/adder as a add or as a single glowfly with no adds if they are a level 4 and under.

Also you can catch these all now, POOR, COMMON, UNCOMMON and RARE!

Update 10:20 PM I finally gotten my rare after 5 hours, click on my armory link to view, it is in game!

EDIT: (IMPORTANT) IF YOU HAVE A HARD TIME AND NOT SURE WHAT LEVEL TO USE, if you have a Terrible Turnip use them, their first ability has a way to bring any level pet down to one hp without killing it, so it would be easier to kill. I used a lvl 11 Terrible Turnip and he had no problems with anything, including two level 10s.

I am not sure if this is intended or a bug, but once learn it is a UNCOMMON pet, but the armory is listing the pet as a rare.

Now sure if this is like the sapphire cub which is rare from the recipe and can become another color once learn.

So beware if you are buying one that is not already learn. Recipe is blue but in my case it came out something else after in my journal.

Well this is my 2 cents, in the Dry Hills area as everyone suggested, I had my timer on and I was there for 2 Hours (9 pm to 11 pm on Stormrage server) before I got one spawn to pop. (Poor)

I killed all the yellow non pet critters, I killed the non Harpy Critters pets, I even started killing the Harpies after 1 hour and I didn't get a single spawn.

Either this has a lousy spawn rate (same with the new pets in 5.1) or I was very unlucky, my best guess is to either get lucky and come in the area that no one else had in hours or park a alt here and log on once in a while or you can wait up to 2 hours looking for one to pop.

Level 4 Pet.

Edit: Not 2 minutes after posting this that I found another Harpy spawn, so IMO this is not chance they have a spawn timer I would believe of at least 2 hours.

Lofty Libram is the FIRST pet and the name you are looking for and sometimes the only pet or it can also have one add to the team. The pet does hit back pretty strong, so be prepare, I have seen both a level 6 and a level 7 Lofty Libram with the level 7 having the add with it.

Everyone is correct I found them around the outside of the crater in the town on both sides.

Spend over a hour in the small area of savage thicket and NONE spawn at all, none, zip and reading most of the notes below I think this pet either has a really long spawn timer or spawns only at night.

Maybe the spawn rate at night is better but 12:30 to 1:30 eastern (server) it was dead.

After the boss Lucifron (Straight across the bridge from the entrance), big corehound dog named MAGMADAR, soloed as a level 85 pally, level 90s shouldn't have any problem at all. The pet is a rare when it drops and this pet is RARE once you learn it.

Trying to find a rare from pets that spawn as a second is really awful and painful, so far all I found was it comes second from the Polly and Strand Crab.

I would go by the beach or shores as there are more stand crabs there, but the chances of finding a moth as one of the pets is like 1 in 5.

Edit: You won't find the mob as a add on the crab in the middle of the zone, you need to hit the beach area, I found a lot of crabs and moths as a second pet on Jaguero Isle, but it still seems like a 1 in 5 rate, trying to find a rare is pretty much luck.

If for some reason you kill the pet you are after you can try this little trick to get your pet group back to spawn with the same make up of the group. While IN the pet battle after you have killed your pet you wanted (UNLESS IT WAS THE LAST ONE STANDING) simply just LOG off. When you log off and back on, the pet group will be back in front of you.

***(Make sure you log off in the middle of the pet battle)

At that time you can try again, change pets or heal your pets. (Beware I did this in Winterspring with those tigers around) when I logged in, I seen the closes tiger go over and kill my pet group- first time I actually seen that in person) but normally this works 99.8% of the time.

If you think something is to close like a tiger and might kill your pet, take it out first just incase you need to do the 'reset'.
