I'll be there! Not quite at one, a bit after, but yay!!!!

I am iffy on this. I would have preferred it be an option - show me my realm or show me my connected realms.

 

 

It didn't change my standing, but I feel REALLY bad for the people who were on our connected realm, who were 1-3 who are now not only behind, but REALLY far behind. Our realm has a large number of INSANE pet collectors, and it seems really unfair to have made the other realm compete with us.

 

I do like knowing though that I really am the biggest nerd on my realms.

I really love the meet-up. One year we should really plan it out though. I feel like if they do Con Before the Storm, we should try and snag a room in that so we can sit and really chat about our pets! :)

Having purchased 4 of the cards at various points to get the Hippogryph Hatchling, I am thrilled they did this one. The donation is pretty amazing too.

As for the color, I couldn't care less. I am glad they offer the card pets at an easy to acquire cost. Make with Bananas and the Spectral Kitteh already! They have a different id (which is fine for my alts and my main gets "two" counts for the same pet) but they look just as awesome. Win/Win.

I get the point of doing the single troll farming thing, but honestly, at 85 in ilevel 333 gear, it's no longer necessary. My warlock ripped through the groups of trolls like butter. I just started clearing the entire place (minus bosses) and collected up the sticks, then went back and freed as many frogs as I could find.

Also there are some trolls that respawn even if you don't leave the instance, so they were pretty awesome to farm.

Good Luck! The netherweave sells pretty well too.

I get the splitting of pets along Horde and Alliance lines, but I really wish they would stop having pets that you just have to chose between.

It's like they are intentionally *trying* to drive me bonkers.

When the Kitten sits, he will stay there for a long time, even if you run away. (Unlike other pets who will follow immediately.)

Also it is a pretty good idea to have a macro set up that explains he is from the Trading Card Game and the easiest way to get one is to go to eBay. It saves a ton of typing. :)

This pet makes a great present for friends and family who play WoW, but don't try to get the trading card pets on their own.

If you are farming this little guy, be sure to group with an enchanter. Even if they aren't in the instance with you (like they are in Hyjal and you are farming) it still lets you de the blues and greens.

Also, if you do it on heroic there is also the chance to get the great Orb of the Sindori item that lets you turn into a Blood Elf.
