if you have one at your disposal, a pet that can put up Arcane Winds simplifies the fight exponentially; Arcane winds prevents all stun effects. Blue Dragon Whelps in particular are what I use (Lil' T), and as long as you force the critter-slime to come first and manage to get the weather up right before either your pet or the critter dies, the Spirit's stuns dont take effect.

Though it says BoP, this pet can be caged once learned and traded/sold.

I am a sea pony magnet

By that I mean that when I am fishing, everyone who fishes beside me will get their pony. I'm not kidding: the moment I showed up on the dock with a pair of friends, they both immediately fished up their ponies, and two more people ran up and got one on their first cast while I was continuing.

And yet here I am 200+ casts and with no pony. Maybe February will have it for me...

This is an awesome pet for warlocks! Imp, plus the Grell, plus the Fiery imp from the t12 2set, plus the hellfire imp from random Bane of Doom crits, its a whole imp army!

Re: Frosty
Definitely looking forward to taking this little zombie critter to meet his mama in 3.3. Frosty may not appreciate it though...

A good pet to start with for budding pet farmers, since me and my friends have observed this one to actually have a decent drop rate. Unlike those silly whelplings, you can expect to see the hatchling within an hour or two, and the mobs to grind are quite close together. Course, I'm not saying someone could get unlucky...

Skywing, the questgiver, is found patrolling the southeastern part of the fringe of the Bone Wastes. Its not an incredibly difficult quest, but I think someone at the level of the mobs may want to bring a friend if they think they need help

As a horde member, it took some decent pantomime to get me and my sister this pet. Lots of /pointing, /chickening, and /begging before that silly hunter got the message. Course, He may have just been confused by the big 80 warlock begging at his feet and decided to revel in the situation, who knows how allies think these days

If you're looking for the eggs individually, get ready for some farming. Youve got a good chance to get the Tanaris beacon from a run in Zul'Farakk, But the Hinterlands and feralas ones required some decent farming. Theres a huge camp full of Woodpaw Gnolls in Feralas that work nicely, and in the Hinterlands look for Mangey Silvermaine wolves.
