A blue poster confirmed that while the Scorchling is permanently removed from Midsummer Festival, it's not gone.
It will return and it'll have company: mini elementals of the other elements! How they will be obtainable we can only speculate, but since in Cataclysm we will be traveling in all four of the Elemental Planes, it wouldn't be hard to find a reputation, a quest or a mob to tie them with.

Maybe it's just that I'm unlucky but according to my experience Muckbreath seems to be the rarest of all the baby crocs. I've gotten at least 3 extra buckets of the other three, and still no sight of this little stinker.Anyone can confirm/deny my suspicion?

I still hate the once-per-day system... pet collectors should be allowed to spent all day and enlist their whole guilds to farm a pet if we so choose in my opinion...
