I found a few Flooftalon in the the area around 49,75.  They were all non-combat so I just killed all of the critters in the area until a combatable Flooftalon finally spawned. It took about an hour and a half until I finally got one.  It was gray quality, but I have plenty of upgrade tokens stashed away. 

Don't make the same mistake I made.  The acheivement for this pet is NOT account bound.  It is a single character achievement and must be completed on one character.  The achievements can be found under Expansion Features - Dragon Riding and the next level of achievement doesn't open until you complete the first for each zone.  

Does anyone know what the limit to the amount of waves are? I know I've been in groups that has gotten to wave 21.  What if it's like you have to have a 40 man raid and get through wave 25?
