I was in the snowdrifts at about a quarter to 9 tonight looking for this little guy for the first time. Reading about how it needed to snow to find him, I decided to wait the 15 minutes or so to see if the hour change would bring a change in weather conditions, fortunately it did and with plenty of luck there was one on my mini-map which turned out to be a rare. Suffice to say, I did manage to capture the little fellow. :)

For anyone looking for a rare, try Tanaris, I don't know if it's the zone or pure luck but I've stumbled upon 3 Rattlesnake rares across the region in the span of maybe 30 minutes.

I managed to find this little guy just outside of the Cavern of Times, according to the minimap, I was still in Tanaris. Fortunately it happened to be a rare.
