I figured out an easy way to grind up all 3 artifact weapons to 52. save the artifact tokens in your bank (they seem to provide A Lot more artifact xp these days- whew!). do broken shore campaign. switch specs and use each token until your weapon is leveled up to 52. mine got stuck at 35, but they have removed the quest line requirement there so when i hearthed to dalaran and swapped specs and swapped back it was clear all the way to 52. hope this helps!  

Finally found one after about a week of searching, battled and DCed right before I won and now it's gone :cries:
