Location info is incorrect. You can find this pet as a main pet. Found mine in the bottom left of Val'sharah.

I didn't even know you would be able to get a pet from these. I came across a nest and saw it was clickable. Thought is was just some food source like the apples and meat, that's scattered all across the island.

Surprised it contained a pet!
