I'm confused about why Blizzard decided to put Howl and Solar Beam on the same tier. Should've been Howl and Ray of Hope on the same, since both give a buff to Solar Beam. There is no value in Howl for this pet if there is no "big hit" attack to buff. Why buff for 100% and use it for a normal attack? Just attack twice, which is the same round cost as Howl + Attack. Attack being either Bark or Lick, which are usable every round. Retrieve is weaker then Bark and Lick and wastes Howl too.

After several days of farming this pet, I have learned a couple things:

1. You do not need to kill the non-battle pets to get the battle pets to spawn. Just kill the current battle pets (regardless of variety) that are in the area. Shortly afterwards at least 1 battle pet will respawn.

2. They can show up as Rare - got a S/S spawn of a Rare after days of farming.

3. They have a high likelihood of showing up with Rare quality support pets. If you are missing any Rares try these.
