Hoplet was originally a companion reward for purchasing a 6 or 12 month subscription at the beginning of 2023. It was redeemable only on Classic realms.

This pet was eventually made available for Retail from the Blizzard Store between January 18, 2024 to February 29, 2024. It was purchasable using any major credit card. Players who purchased this pet received it directly in the in-game Pet Journal. All WoW accounts (of the same region) under one Battle.net will have access to this pet.
