I have friends who had this pet drop from the blue plants, however, I haven't been so lucky. And it is supposed to be on the vendor at renown 11 (I am renown 13) but it isn't there...

In order to get this, you must have a pet that resembles the pet you're trying to purchase. You simply summon the pet, and then you can purchase the one from the vendor. Pets/Beetles that I found that match: Endmite, Paulie, Rango.

As others have mentioned, use the Friendsurge Defenders toy, travel to /way 34.5 62.3, and you can then battle the pet to cage.

I was just granted this pet at Renown 2, after completing the Slow and Steady Wins the Race achievement. I wasn't even participating in the snail race, I just happened to be nearby.

Found mine at 47.89, 54.99, also 49.47, 57.46, also 51.84, 61.47

I was able to unlock this at Renown 2. I went over to the racing area and there was a quest that once completed, rewarded Tricky.

Raising the Winterpelt Furbolg rep is quite easy. After you begin their questline you can collect Liberated Furbolg Artifacts, and Intact Scribe Stick to turn in to the repeatable turn-in vendor for language points. 5x  Liberated Furbolg Artifacts grant you 1 point, 1x Intact Scribe Stick grant you 1 point. You need to get to 100 language points. As you progress you are given random regular quests that grant a ton of rep. Farm the items, turn them on all, then complete the short quests.

This is now a reward for Recruit a Friend. You just need to recruit a friend (or recruit yourself, there is a post explaining on to do this), then add 1 month of game time to the account.

As mentioned in the other comment, talk to Nuptuk and he he will give you Sunglasses to put on. Once you have them on you can see Whitewhisker.

Found one at 49, 67 in The Waking Shores, be careful they have an ability where they kill themselves.

Found in The Waking Shores around 44.54, 28.00, near the northern most flight point Uktulet Pier.

This pet comes from the Ephemera Orb. To get this you need to talk to Firim to get his Firim's Spare Forge-tap. You can also get this when you're on a daily he has you do. Go around to the circular orbs around the zone and click it, periodically you will get Ephemera Strands. Combine 15 of these strands into a Ephemera Orb, open, and hope you get the pet. You can do this all day long if you want, it just takes the 15 strands to combine.

Found some birds at 62.50, 47.29 that spawned one.

I was able to complete this in the rift. You can do it inside or outside of the rift. I went to 29, 43, attacked the Chains of Domination chain (its on the ground, not up on the cliff), then the Screecher fell and I could loot him.

This pet is obtained during the Kyrian assault. Speak to Orator Kloe (42.2, 44.49). You need to find Sly 3 total times, meaning you need to do this for 3 different Kyrian assaults, and each time Sly will be in a different spot.

When you speak with Orator Kloe (42.2, 44.49) she will give you a buff called Sharp Eye. You will then want to follow the footprints on the ground leading to Sly. If you don't follow the footprints, and simply run to the coords, he will not be there.

Once you find the vendor you will need all 3 lockboxes, and the gold. The shopkeeper will emote to you. Run up to the shopkeeper, /wave (or /wink, /nod), the Shopkeeper will say "Psst, Hey, you. Unassuming visitor. Do you like small creatures?". Only summoning Small Frog allowed the vendor to be active for me (other frogs didn't, although they could work).
