Just tested this. Had an old base game code from a previous black friday sale I bought for RAF reward purposes. If you only want the pet and not more rewards the following steps can get you this. With black Friday coming up figured this may be useful

Sent a raf invite to a second Bnet account I have.

Created a account on that which is a button from the new RAF link,

made a character on the account and logged in ( this step may not be needed)

Applied code to the account

Got pet in 5 mins later

I had done all the quests for this week 1 of the exspansion but when I went to buy it as I got the charms Blind Wunja did not have it.  Since Cursed Coin is kinda a wanted type quest went back did it and was able ot purchase the pet now. So if your confused hey I did the quest but the vendor is not selling it go back and do the quest it likely got reset for you to. 

Bad news it appears this and the horde one are Prestige 7. 

Flibbit - curious about testing running around with any of the currently exsisting murloc pets.  Will see about testing that over the next few days. But I do have a feeling it ends up being some sort of mini event. 

DarthEnder I am guesing you will be able to exlude it once it is marked as in the game which I am thinking will be soon. I would say thought you can play 100% bot games and while they take 20 minute each and will take a bit of that its something worth looking into doing over the course of a year or so, maybe you will enjoy the game to.
