I found this lovely on the third spawn point I checked in Grizzly hills. I must have been very lucky too as it's an H/H which seems to be the best type for this pet. Very easy capture, took the advice from other comments and used a level 20 imperial eagle chick. It's poor quality but I'm planning on upgrading it

After around 600 kills and 4 hours I finally got a bag that contained the Oozeling. Was very easy to kill in western Swamp of Sorrows, I just ran around and shot everything after turning on track elementals for my hunter. They stay in the water so it was very easy to just run around the whole area following the rivers

Farmed this in Wetlands, got it the first day on my 516th kill, was pretty lucky, though it took about 4 hours to get at lvl 100. They do spawn very fast, i just went up and down one side of the area without any trouble.
