This has become one of my favourite battle pets, and because it's so underrated, most people don't know what it can do until it's too late! I personally go with the wave+shield+trap combo, though the order which you do it varies with the pet you're battling. I usually go with trap>wave>shield if enemy has higher speed, and trap>wave>wave>shield otherwise. But be prepared to mix it up for some unpredictability!
A pretty good pet to use for PVP if you are a fan of strategies where you slowly kill the other 2 pets in your opponent's line-up while keeping them distracted with the first. Dreadful Breath, Toxic Smoke and Acid Rain are my go-to abilities for this pet.
The irony of the Bloodfeather's favourite food is not lost on me! xD
My friends and I found some deeper & further into the ruins, for example, 2 spawning near the instance's entrance, so they definitely don't just spawn along the scarab wall like what many believe (I saw so many people camping for it at the wall!). Happy catching! (:
January has been really good to me (: I have now collected most of the pets from Revendreth, and only have the crimson dreadwing pup and lightspawn to go <3 hopefully the pets from Maldraxxus will start dropping soon, I've yet to see any of them besides invertebrate oil which a good friend gave me!
ETA: OMG just got a dude to trade a P/P spineclaw with my H/H one at no extra cost!!! And his was a level 25 too, while mine was only level 1. FAITH IN HUMANITY RESTORED <3
