I have to admit that after some WoW-breaks over the past years, and considering how many and how often new pets are added, I long ago gave up on collecting them all.
My favourite pet of all times, my little Windrider Cub, just turned 10 recently. He was a birthday present, and I still smile when he unfurls his little wings and "chases" me all over Azeroth.
My 2nd favourite is the Cinder Kitten - he was given to me by a GM as a consolation after some other GMs had messed up my account. I was newly operated, in pain and JUST wanted to play WoW, but then I couldn't... until that GM swooped in days later, fixed it all and then sent me a fuzzy, firey kitty - and even told me I made their day with my thank-you-note :-)
