Maruka's Comments

Finding the giraffe has been, by far, the toughest hunt. I followed the suggestions of others and killed the larger giraffes as I found them and just kept circling around on my mount. I finally snagged one after about a week of looking by the Ruins of Taurajo. I can't say whether or not killing the adults helped. Patience and persistence definitely did though. 

I'm having a hard time with this one. I went into the cave and killed everything that moved so many times that I lost count. No battle pets of any variety spawned inside the cave at all. Had to give it a break cuz I was really getting frustrated. Will try again though. 

This was a tough find. After battling and killing all the pets in the area that I could, a harpy finally spawned after about 20 minutes. Thankfully, it didn't take me the 3 hours it took some others. I found her in the Dry Hills in the valley at about 28,36. She was only uncommon but I'm happy with that.

I got extremely lucky. First battle was a rare. Right next to the lake by Bloodhoof Village.
