Status Update (1)

Oh my goodness! I just got the Phoenix mount from Tempest Keep.

9 runs and rolled 100 against 5 other people (Next highest was 97 which was my friend's roll, and he would have given it to me anyway since he knew I wanted it to much).

If I lost the roll, I would have paid all I have on all of my Horde toons which equalled to 34324g 25s 16c and a Hyacinth Macaw.

166 pets
130 mounts

*Burnie explodes...again.

Farming the Spineclaw Crab can be quite frustrating.

Best farming spot: The shore just south of the Jademist Dancers and north of the Horde camp. Seven Ancient Spineclaws spawn around there. Helps to use Scuttler's Shell.

Monstrous Spineclaw spawn rate: Any Ancient Spineclaw can spawn as a Monstrous Spineclaw instead. I'd say about a 1/100 spawn rate (No data to back that up).

Spineclaw Crab drop rate: Wowhead says 1.7%. Other Timeless Isle rares seem to drop pets at 3%.

I can't help but compare the Dread Hatchling, Raven Lord, and Dread Raven to evolving Pokemon.  The Dread Hatchling is comparable to a Pidgey, the Raven Lord is like a Pidgeotto, and the Dread Raven is the highest evolution similar to a Pidgeot.

Re: Willy

EXTERMINATE!

Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Does anyone else think that Willy looks like a Dalek (Minus the casing) from Doctor Who?  A small, tentacled creature with one eye and a thirst for exterminating things.

I have only encountered three owls so far, but from what I gather is that they seem to share spawn points with Alpine Chipmonks, Alpine Hares, and Crystal Spiders. Both critter and battle pets. It doesn't help to kill them as I witnessed a critter despawn only to have its place taken by a battle pet. So I suggest just flying around Winterspring spamming a targeting macro for the owl. Probably concentrate on the spots with a high congregation of critters/battle pets.

In Azshara I found both the Twilight Spider and the Twilight Beetle at Sable Ridge (70,15).  You might need to even kill the Roaches to find one.

Don't start thinking you would get this pet in 30 or even 200 casts. I just spent hours fishing this little guy up and ended up catching a boat load of fish.

549 Raw Rainbow Fin Albacore
256 Oily Blackmouth
80 Firefin Snapper
8 Small Locked Chests
About a dozen or so Sealed Crates and Message in a Bottles
1 Sea Pony

So I got mine after about 900 casts.

I feel honored to be among the few who get to own this rare and beautiful pet. When I first saw the Celestial Dragon I knew I just had to have it, and the fact that one has to have 150 other pets makes it not only a very cool pet but a status symbol for pet collectors. While a TCG pet can be bought quickly, this pet has to be earned over years.

I imagine that Draco would be a common name for the Celectial Dragon, but I chose to name mine Eridonus. He flows through hyperspace like a river.

Why do I have to choose between two birds? For someone who is obsessed with birds this is torture. Blue or Gold? A forced decision based on color. I hug my warm Gold Mini Jouster as I shed tears for the Blue Mini Jouster that I will never have.
