With the addition of Chromie Time to the game, this is a super quick pet to pick up. It took me around an hour to get a new shaman through the introductory stuff, into legion and the start of the class hall. Once I knocked down the wall for the class hall, Snowfang was waiting to be fought. Iron Starlette (wind up/supercharge/wind up) and a backup pet to finish him off made the fight quick and easy :)

This was by far the worst Mechagon pet to catch. I finally had one spawn for me on the south-west coast of the main island, opposite the western spray islands after around 2 hours of waiting in the same spot. Prior to this, I killed every critter, and every fleeting frog pet that spawned in the area. 

This is nothing more than an arduous waiting game.

An hour of farming these the highest quality I found was common, so I just grabbed it to stone it instead. They're peppered around the coast, with the biggest numbers at shipwreck cove, but good luck if you're trying for a rare catch, you might be there a while!

caught mine at 52.78, 34.23 after killing all the other pets in the area. The spawn on this guy is pretty sparse, but I found clearing out everything else helped :)

Got mine today after 272 kills, all in all took around 5 hours. Compared to most of the pet drops on Timeless Isle, I didn't find this one bad at all, just long. Like others have said, a good way to do your epoch stone and elite kill dailies in the process :)

Just got this little guy while fishing from a Giant Mantis Shrip pool on Timeless Isle. Although this dropped from the first pool I'd fished today, I have been actively levelling fishing for the last few months and this is the first carp I've come across. Definetely a pet that requires patience :)

This little guy is fast becoming one of my favourite pets to use. I'm using a rare quality breed 6, so full health, and despite having lower speed and power numbers, he is still incredibly strong. Supercharge + Demolish is an extremely powerful combo, even with the reduced chance to hit. Definately a must have!

Finally caught one of these guys as a secondary to a Tolai Hare outside of Shado-Pan. It was rare quality.  I had come across a few of them as packs of 2-3 with an Alpine Foxling, but all of them were poor or common quality. Not the easiest to get, but take on every pet you find in the snowy areas and you should get a decent quality one eventually.  

After spending hours camping for this pet, I finally picked it up around 10.30am GMT. I headed over to the area after picking up some other pets, and lucked out . Only one of them.had spawned, and I was incredibly lucky for it to be a rare! I'm afraid I didn't use any special tactics, but was more 'right place right time' :)
