They seriously nerfed the OOX/Mechanical chicken quests; only one ambush per escort, then the little pest rockets off to Booty Bay. Fortunate, since it was an alt that actually got all three beacon drops. And it's BoU! So, another pet nabbed.

There are few pets that I could describe as 'cute', but this little guy is one of them. Dropped while farming bones for the mount; a lot of kills but since I'm only 10% of the way towards the mount, not too bad.

It's a random drop from the Cache; you also get another item in addition to the Scorchling. It can also drop again after you already have it; like the pet gators in Shattrath, you have to delete the item to get rid of it.
