I noticed something interesting and possibly unintentional about this pet's ability, Impale. When used on an enemy that is above 25% health, if the initial strike brings them below 25% the instant kill still triggers.
(e) My 11 Harbinger just took down a 23 Marsh Fiddler solo. A lucky Impale crit for 358 bringing it just under 25%, triggering the instant kill for 3.8k. This is potentially quite powerful for pvp and tamer battles.

Picked up a few new pets via AH, mostly from holidays I've missed or am too impatient to wait for. I also got incredibly lucky yesterday. I picked up a rare Crow by chance as I was running around Darkmoon Isle on an alt after having just found a Darkmoon Eye in my last satchel for the month. Woohoo!
While doing some GL dailies, a spider dropped my 9th skyshard, leading to a great massacre of tricksters. Number 10 came surprisingly quick, and I am quite enjoying my new Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. All these new shiny things really made up for how crappy raiding has been for me lately.
Prime Targets: Rare Wanderer's Festival Hatchling, Sumprush Rodent, 5/15 Darkmoon Rabbit
Skyshards: 10/10!
