Shrugg, Im pretty sure its already a big advantage to have it before 6.1, since taht means anyone waiting will have to fish for 100 lunkers as they will add sea calf, rather than you who only needs another 50.

the non killing of pets outside pet battles may be a tad annoying for rare hunting, but also prevents griefing against us.

techinqly theres a 5th pet during the patch, from what Ive heard. a new cat from halloween.

600 uniques were possible before, 608 even. and as far they have not increased the total amount of pets you can have in your journal.

I would be surprised if there will be less than 700 uniques possible after WoD.

felinovan, we dont know the drop rate yet. ;)

it might be a high drop rate though, as it sounded to me like the mount is an achievement reward.

sadly my first thought on the pup was: "this will be a store pet" its just too cute to not be a pet you pay for :(
